Europe’s Christmas Markets: Traditions, Delights, and Holiday Cheer!

 

The holiday season is approaching. Soon Europe is about to fill with snow-covered cities, twinkling lights, and the enchanting aromas of mulled wine, freshly baked pastries, and gingerbread. The Christmas markets typically begin in late November and run until December 23 or 24, with some extending beyond New Year’s Eve or even into early January.
